Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why, and what we do with it — on our websites, and inside the LaunchDo product where a shop owner builds and runs their website. We collect what the product needs to work, and nothing we cannot explain in a line.

LauncHive Studio is the trading name of Launchive Studio Private Limited, a private limited company incorporated in India, CIN U62099UW2026PTC256490, registered at Plot No. H-36, Sector 63, Noida, Gautam Buddha Nagar 201301, Uttar Pradesh. LaunchDo (launchdo.co), AppDo and LauncHive Studio are product and trading names of the same company; messages, invoices and support for any of them come from it. We are the data controller for everything described below, with one exception named in section 7.

1. Who this policy is about

• Visitors — anyone reading launchivestudio.com or launchdo.co.
• Owners — people who create an account and build a website with us.
• Shoppers — people who buy from, or enquire through, a website an owner published with us.

2. What we collect

• Your mobile number. It is how you sign in, and it is the account. We ask for it before we build anything.
• A verification code. We send a six-digit code to that number and keep a one-way hash of it — never the code itself — for five minutes, then delete it.
• Your account. Your name, your business name, the password you choose (stored only as a hash), and optionally an email address.
• What you build. Your business description, trade, products, prices, photographs, opening hours, address and the web address you pick.
• Orders and enquiries placed on your website by your shoppers — their name, phone number, delivery address and what they ordered — so you can fulfil them.
• Payment records. What you paid us and when. Card and UPI details are handled by our payment provider and never reach our servers.
• Usage data — basic analytics about how pages are used, and error logs.

3. WhatsApp and SMS

We use the WhatsApp Business Platform, provided by Meta, to send sign-in codes and service messages to the number you give us. If WhatsApp cannot reach you, we fall back to SMS through an Indian SMS provider.

• We send to your number only for a reason you started: a sign-in code, a confirmation, or a message about your own website or order.
• We do not send marketing on WhatsApp without your consent, and we do not sell or rent your number.
• Message content and delivery status pass through Meta's systems under Meta's own terms and privacy policy, in addition to this one.
• Replies you send to our business number are stored so we can answer them, and so a support conversation has a record.
• You can stop WhatsApp messages at any time by replying STOP, or by blocking the number. Sign-in then falls back to SMS.

4. Why we use it

• To confirm the number is yours, and to let you back into your account later.
• To build, publish, host and keep your website running.
• To pass an order or an enquiry from your shopper to you.
• To take payment, raise invoices and meet our tax and accounting obligations.
• To answer you when you contact us, and to fix faults we can see in error logs.
• To send you occasional product updates where you have agreed. You can stop these at any time.

5. Photographs and generated text

Where you do not supply your own, your website may use licensed stock photography and text drafted with the help of AI tools. Your business details are sent to those tools only to draft that text. Photographs and files you upload are stored to serve on your website and are not used to train anybody's model.

6. Who holds the data

We do not sell personal information. It is held and processed by:

• Supabase — the database holding accounts, sites, products and orders.
• Vercel — hosting and delivery of our websites and the sites we publish.
• Meta Platforms — WhatsApp messages and delivery status.
• An Indian SMS provider — text messages when WhatsApp cannot be used.
• Resend — transactional email.
• Razorpay — payments. They receive what a payment needs; we receive only the result.
• Google and Groq — AI services used to draft website copy.
• Web3Forms — the enquiry form on launchivestudio.com.
• Meta Pixel — advertising measurement on our marketing pages only, never inside a published shop.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

Some of these operate outside India. Where data leaves the country it is transferred under the provider's own contractual protections.

7. Your shoppers' data belongs to you

When somebody orders from a website you published with us, you are the controller of that person's details and we are your processor. We hold them so your shop works, we act on your instructions, and we do not use them for our own purposes or contact your customers ourselves. You are responsible for how you use them, and for your own privacy notice if you need one.

8. How long we keep it

• Verification codes — five minutes, then deleted. Deleted immediately on use.
• Your account and website — for as long as the account is open, and for a short grace period after it closes so you can change your mind.
• Orders and invoices — as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires.
• Error logs — a short, rolling window.

9. Deleting your data

You can ask us to delete your account and everything in it. Email founder@launchivestudio.com from the address on your account, or message our business WhatsApp number from the mobile number on your account, with the words delete my account.

• We confirm it is you, then delete your account, your website and its contents.
• Your published website stops working. This cannot be undone.
• We finish within 30 days and write to tell you when it is done.
• We keep only what the law requires us to keep — invoices and tax records — and nothing else.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable law you may ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop sending you updates. Write to the address in section 12 and we will answer within 30 days.

11. Security, cookies and children

• Passwords are stored as hashes. Verification codes are stored as hashes. Traffic is encrypted in transit.
• We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, but no system is completely secure and we cannot promise absolute security.
• Our sites use cookies to keep you signed in and to measure traffic. You can control cookies in your browser; some features stop working without them.
• Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
